Dear Fathers and Father-figures,
On December 5 from 6:00 - 7:00PM, we had our be first annual 'Dads and Kids' Pizza Night at school. We met here at the Lasley cafeteria at 6:00PM for FREE pizza and drinks. At 6:30 PM, we watched a presentation about our WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) Program. WATCH D.O.G.S. is an innovative program used at schools across the United States which helps students to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student's life. Our goal is to have each father and father-figures spend at least one day this year, at the school to be a positive role model and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears.
